At other places, the coordinator consultation would involve checking the parts I was worried about and what I wanted, then passing that on to the surgeon before the consultation. But here, even during the coordinator consultation, the coordinator brought it up first, saying that this is the surgery I should discuss with the surgeon later. If that helps, fine, but in my view that kind of thing is something the surgeon should bring up directly, so before the consultation even started I was already like, huh? The surgeon then consulted based on what the coordinator had written down. The surgeon gave off a very cool, no-nonsense vibe, and the consultation was good. He explained in detail what each surgery is and how it is done, drawing things out as he went. He answered every question I had.
