At other places, the consultation with the manager would involve checking what I was worried about and what I wanted, then passing that on to the doctor before the actual consultation. Here, though, even at the manager consultation stage, the manager brought up the surgery first and said I should talk about it with the doctor during the consultation. That might be helpful, but from my point of view, I think that kind of thing should be brought up directly by the doctor, so before the consultation I already felt a little like, huh? The doctor consulted based on what the manager had written down. The doctor gave off a very cool, straightforward vibe, and the consultation was good. They drew things out and explained in detail what each surgery was and how it would be done. They answered all the questions I had.
