I'm 6 months after incisional surgery, and when I close my eyes, only the left side is sunken like this. What on earth is this?? I went for a revision consultation at another clinic, and they just said it would get better as time passes, but I don't think that's right. When I smile or close only the left eye, that left side gets indented like that and the inner corner of my eye feels really tight. If it's like this, whether it's adhesion or whatever, doesn't that mean the surgery was done wrong? The clinic will probably say the surgery is based on how it looks when my eyes are open, so if it looks fine when my eyes are open, it doesn't matter. But the more the swelling goes down, the worse it gets; if I get revision surgery, will it get even worse? The photo quality isn't good, so you have to look closely.
