I’m slowly settling on a clinic and looking up reviews while thinking about getting surgery, and sometimes I see cases where the lines look like this?... Is this because of swelling??

ㅇㅇii I do think it could partly be due to swelling! It was like that during my first surgery too, but after some time it naturally disappeared!
