1-Year Review After Revision Surgery for Contracted Nose (Using Autologous Costal Cartilage)

Before <before surgery.. lol> Before <contracted nose before surgery.. lol><2 weeks><1 month><2 months><3 months><4 months><4 months><5 months><1 year>Hello, I’m going to write about my experience having revision surgery for a contracted nose. I hope this will be at least a little helpful for those getting revision rhinoplasty.

Before the revision surgery, I was extremely stressed because my contracted nose looked upturned. Those who have experienced a contracted nose will know. The nose looks upturned and there is pain too, so it causes a lot of stress.... I decided I couldn’t go on like this and chose to have revision surgery, and it has already been 1 year since then.

I had revision surgery using autologous costal cartilage, and they recommended it because autologous costal cartilage is strong and is used a lot for revision surgery.

Of course, because it was revision surgery, there was a bit more swelling, and the recovery period was also a bit longer, but now I’m living without any particular problems, and I feel that I made the right choice having the revision surgery. The director said alcohol and smoking are the most harmful, so I think it should be fine as long as I follow that well^^

If you have anything you’re curious about, please ask!
