Before <before revision surgery> After <after revision surgery> After <after revision surgery> Maybe it was because during my first surgery they used silicone and septal cartilage like this, but it didn’t look like a surgically done nose, and should I say the nasal bridge and nasolabial angle looked way too blunt..? Take a look at the photos, you get what I mean.. Doesn’t the nose somehow look heavy..? Is it like that because it drooped? So this time, I used autologous costal cartilage and lifted it to make it sharp and defined. Personally, I really like noses with a pretty nasolabial angle. I think a nose with a pretty nasolabial angle is a truly pretty nose, so this time I really emphasized the nasolabial angle.
I went to consultations at quite a few places, but in the end I went to Finish Plastic Surgery, and during the consultation there, they first examine the autologous costal cartilage and tell you whether it can be used. That actually makes your heart race a bit haha I was a little nervous they’d say it couldn’t be used, but fortunately it was usable. The director is amazing. During the consultation, if you say what kind of nose you want, he edits it right away in Photoshop, and makes what you ask for immediately on the spot. I really liked that, and since they even have an autologous costal cartilage guarantee system, I was totally won over; I also wanted to have the surgery fairly quickly, and the consultant coordinated things well in between, so in the end they scheduled it for the day I wanted haha
Overall, I’m satisfied. I’m at 2 months now, so it seems like the major swelling has already gone down, and the line seems almost settled too. What I like most about my nose right now is that the nasolabial angle was brought out well?? No matter how I take photos, my nose has no bad angles lol Just my nose haha If you hate having a straight-looking nose like I did, find a place that brings out the nasolabial angle well and get it done. For a nose, the side profile is everything.
