I had consultations at 3 places, and two recommended incision, while one recommended non-incisional buried sutures (they did recommend buried sutures because I was still young). That’s how the consultations went.
But at the clinic that said buried sutures were possible, I would’ve had to wait a bit to get surgery.. so I ended up having surgery at the clinic that told me to get it done nicely with an incision if I was going to do it once.
But maybe they set the line a bit too high..;; When my eyes are open it’s okay (2nd photo), but when I open my eyes half-closed or look downward (3rd photo), the surgical scar is clearly noticeable, and it stresses me out so much.
So I’m looking into revision surgery with buried sutures. Has anyone had revision with buried sutures after an incisional double eyelid surgery? Please tell me whether you recommend it or not.. There isn’t much information about buried-suture revision after incisionㅠ
