I went for a double eyelid consultation, and they said they would do semi-sedation anesthesia, so I’d only be briefly put under for the local anesthesia and would be fully awake during the surgery. They drew an in-out line for me, and they stamped something like a mark on my eye and said they would follow that, which made me trust them more. They recommended partial incision, epicanthoplasty, and eye correction. I had a lot of questions, and they answered everything kindly. My eyelids are thin, but they said that if I get double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and eye correction, I wouldn’t need fat grafting, and that there might be a little epicanthoplasty scar, but not to the point that it would be noticeable, and the swelling wouldn’t be as much as with a full incision. I recommend the consultation.
