First of all, the detailed exam took a bit long, but nothing about the exam hurt at all. And since I had the same-day consultation and went straight into surgery, I was able to avoid about 100,000 won in extra costs that would have occurred if I booked the surgery for later. The exam took quite long, over about 1 hour and 30 minutes, because the Avellino gene test result takes some time. If you do the detailed exam before that result comes out, the timing works out just right. The surgery didn't hurt at all, and the only thing that was somewhat scary was that they told me to keep looking at the green dot. They said it disappears after ten seconds, but not to try to find it and just stare blankly. They said if I tried to find it and moved my eyeballs around, the laser machine would stop in the middle and I wouldn't be able to do SMILE LASIK again, so that part was scary. The surgery process itself wasn't painful at all. Even though I could vaguely see them taking out the corneal lenticule cut by the laser inside, it didn't hurt at all. I'm seriously the biggest wimp, but it was painless enough even for me. And right after surgery, my vision was blurry, like glasses with a ton of fingerprints on them + extremely fogged up. As time passed, it got more and more blurry. Then I slept for a bit and woke up, and what do you know, it was day 1 and although the glare was a bit severe, I could seriously see everything I needed to see. Recovery is insane. And now it's day 2, and aside from a little glare, I can seriously see everything well. After finishing the college entrance exam, I look at my phone and computer every day, but I haven't had any particular side effects and I'm normal. But you have to keep putting in artificial tears. It's surprisingly dry. For reference, my older sister, older brother, mom, and acquaintances all did it here. I'm not a broker. I'm just one of the people posting like crazy to level up.
