It’s week 2 for my autologous rib cartilage site, and after getting the stitches removed, they told me to apply Cica-Care. So I came home, took off the strap that had been applied, and was about to put on NewGel Plus, but there was fluid pooled up. I asked the hospital director, and they said it was dissolvable stitches coming out, not discharge.. But when I looked today, it seems like more fluid has pooled up.. Should I keep applying Cica-Care, or should I apply eye ointment and leave it alone?.. The scar is seriously so bad that I feel depressed like I’m going to die.. If anyone has gone through something like me, please share ㅠㅠ

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
