2/12 Rhinoplasty Day 2
Bulbous nose correction, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, cartilage tying, nasal tip surgery, no implant
Yesterday, on the day of surgery, a little blood flowed from my nose, and there was bleeding again this morning. I also felt an itchy sensation inside my nose. The paper the hospital gave me said there could be bleeding for about a day after surgery, so I waited it out. By the afternoon, it seemed like the bleeding had stopped, and clear nasal discharge seemed to be coming out. Of course, it was mixed with blood inside, so it was not completely clear. I was scared to lie down, so except for the 3-4 hours I slept, I stayed standing or sitting.
Both today and yesterday, my nose does not hurt. It just feels like my nose is blocked! I do not think my face is very swollen, and I have no bruising at all. But my ear hurts. Especially on my ear, I even got a bluish bruise. It feels like someone is pinching it.
The photo was taken around 8 p.m., so this is what it looks like almost 24 hours after surgery. I took it briefly while changing the gauze. Please understand even if the blood stains are unpleasant!
