Day 1: I fasted for 8 hours, went into surgery at 11 a.m., was moved to the recovery room at 1:30 p.m., and came out around 2:15 p.m.~ I waited while reading posts in this community, and finally got it done lol Because I have keloid-prone skin, they harvested the fat from my abdomen, but wow, those of you who had it taken from your thighs, how did you endure it~~!! I respect you now lol Maybe because it was right after surgery, there wasn’t much swelling, and the line came out so satisfying that I thought, this is why people do it haha
Maybe because they shaved down the hump and even did osteotomies, by evening I started bruising around the eyes! I had to eat because I needed to take medicine, but my lips were so dry they wouldn’t open, so I ate Lunar New Year food cut up like feeding a baby lololol
Sleeping was truly a whole new world haha I saw a review saying they drank water once every hour, and that’s impressive. I woke up more than 12 times an hour....?? lol I had to breathe and swallow saliva, so I would sleep with my mouth closed, wake up startled because I couldn’t breathe, drink water, and that went on all night
Day 2
It felt like I slept but didn’t sleep, but whenever I had a chance, I did cold compresses~ I went to the hospital and had the cotton removed from inside my nose, and someone said it felt like their brain was coming out lol I understood what they meant lol They said bloody nasal discharge would come out, but so far my nose isn’t blocked and my nose isn’t running, so I feel so alive. But when they first removed the cotton and I breathed, I thought my nose was going to fall off lolol When riding home by car, you feel the force of gravity on downhill roads lol It’s the kind of feeling only people who have experienced it would know, I guess lol
Anyway, maybe because I read tons and tons of reviews in this community before surgery, I’m spending the time without major discomfort. Since I also got help, I’m leaving this long post in hopes it will be at least a little helpful to people getting surgery for the first time~ I’ll come back again!!
