I’m on the thin side, so I don’t have much fat on my face, and anyone could tell this wasn’t something Botox could fix. I knew bone surgery was absolutely the only answer ㅠ From the front, my face shape looked kind of bumpy and uneven, and not only that, from the side it was pretty serious too…ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ My mouth protruded slightly, and my chin protruded too…ㅠㅠ
After deciding on bimaxillary surgery and facial contouring, I did tons of online and in-person research and found this clinic. I booked a consultation, and when I first went, seriously wow.. I reserved right away lol The 3D simulation showed me how I’d look after surgery, and the side profile was exactly what I wanted. The director’s aesthetic sense matched mine perfectly haha
I think this is really important: the director also has to think the pretty face you want is pretty in the same way for the results to come out well. Just my personal opinion!
After surgery, drinking water with a syringe did make me question reality a bit lol but that’s something everyone does after bimaxillary surgery ㅠㅠ I was the most swollen on day 6, and from the next day, the swelling gradually moved down toward my neck. After my first outpatient visit, I removed the tape and looked in the mirror, and my face shape was so pretty. I know I can’t really compare, but still, it was like Karina or Shin Se-kyung’s line.. haha (just my own thought haha)
And maybe because the director tied things so my nose would be reduced more, it used to have a bulbous-nose feel, but that bulbous feeling decreased a little haha My nose also became more defined!
If I were to talk about what changed after doing both bimaxillary surgery and facial contouring, first of all, my face shape became really pretty, seriously like Karina lol The bulbous-nose look decreased slightly, and my cheekbones became much smaller, so my face fits right under a baseball cap and looks even smaller haha
And because it feels like a waste to cover up how small my face has become, I don’t even wear scarves these days lol Thanks to my smaller face, I’m so, so happy lately~~ Honestly, if a stranger saw me, they’d probably just think I was originally someone with a small, slim face.
I was really, really worried it would look obvious that I had bimaxillary surgery, but it doesn’t look obvious, and only my facial line became smoother.
Now I can eat everything well without avoiding anything, and I barely have any discomfort haha Even thinking back on it, I feel like it was a good decision to consult with and have surgery from Director Park Jae-bong. Everyone is kind and cute haha
I’m planning to have the pins removed at the same clinic too.
