Rather than a dramatic before-and-after, what I wanted was a natural straight-to-slightly-curved line, lifting the nasal tip while improving my drooping nose, and additionally having rhinitis surgery at the same time. While searching mainly for rhinoplasty without implants, I found the director's blog, read it thoroughly, and then visited.
The blog included part of the surgical process, and unusually, there were many long-term follow-ups such as 4 months/7 months, so I think it was easy to look through. The doctor also wrote occasional daily-life posts, and just from seeing the photos they took, I could tell they had excellent aesthetic sense and taste, so I didn't spend that long worrying about the clinic.
My self-diagnosis and the director's opinion matched, and we decided to use ear cartilage and septal cartilage. After surgery, I stayed in the recovery room for about 2-3 hours, and I had heard that it would be miserable because I couldn't breathe due to the cotton packing, but since I already couldn't breathe well because of rhinitis, it was somewhat bearable. Still, I went in the next day, had the cotton removed, got a swelling laser treatment + antibiotic injection, and went home comfortably.
I did warm/cold compresses diligently, and at one week I visited and had the splint and stitches removed + swelling laser + antibiotic injection. The treatment-room staff were kind, and stitch removal didn't hurt much.
The glabella, nasal bridge, and nasal tip are still quite swollen and still feel firm, but it seems to have come out well, like the feeling of the photos I had seen on the blog, so I'm already satisfied. I like the surgery itself, but I am also very satisfied that it is not a factory-style plastic surgery clinic. I found this clinic because I was sick of all the same ads and reviews, and whatever it is, I like that nothing feels excessive. I'm going to be careful and keep watching it haha
