Review of nose surgery for someone with wide nostril wings

<Before/After><After/Before>I had thick skin on my nostril wings, small nostrils, and a bulbous nose...ㅠㅠ After thinking about it for almost 10 years, I had annual leave left and happened to have a lump sum of money, so I had the surgery a month ago haha

I got a list of places my acquaintance had surgery at and places they had consultations at, and I had consultations at five clinics. Among them, I narrowed it down to two places that were known for doing natural-looking surgery and whose surgical method was what I wanted, then had one more consultation. In the end, I chose the place that was said to take care of aftercare almost to the point of being bothersome, and I absolutely do not regret it haha Even now, I think it was such a good decision!!! I am a huge worrier, so during the 2-week stabilization period, I went to the clinic 9 times... Not once did the director seem annoyed; he personally disinfected it every time, and even cleaned off the old dead skin around my nose that had built up because I was too worried to wash for 2 weeks... Doctor, you are the best..

They inserted 4 mm silicone, and since my columella was a bit retracted, they brought it out using septal cartilage and built up the nasal tip together with ear cartilage. What I was most worried about was the nostril wings, but they said my nostrils were small so an internal incision would not be possible, and with an external incision they could only correct the drooping and remove a bit of tissueㅠㅠ Still, they said that if the nasal tip was raised, it would look more refined than before, so I trusted them and went for it haha A week before surgery, I dissolved the filler, and this horribly ugly version of me appeared...ㅠ I suffered through that week and then lay down on the operating table... They removed the ear cartilage first under local anesthesia, and then proceeded with the main surgery under sedation with the anesthesiologist present. Until right before anesthesia, I think I was rapping to the director, begging him to please make it pretty... lol The surgery took two hours!

On the first day, I could not breathe through my nose at all, but I kept bleedingㅠㅠ My mouth was dry... It was so hard I almost cried... If I had not had a humidifier, I would have gotten a sore throat.. Make sure to prepare a humidifier before surgery... Two days later, after they removed the bandage under my nose and took out the nasal packing, it became a little more bearable...ㅠㅠ The splint was removed on day 7.

Even though I am usually the type who does not swell much.. I had to look as natural as possible before going back to work, so I slept sitting up for almost a week to reduce swelling lol If you are going to sleep sitting up, make sure to buy a triangular back cushion beforehand... You will keep using it even after surgery lol For one week, I followed the rule of 3 days of cold compresses and 3 days of warm compresses. I did buy 3 sets of that legendary swelling medicine, but the director told me not to take it because it contained steroids, so I could not take itㅠㅠ It was expensive, so what a waste Still, I barely swelled, so acquaintances who knew I had surgery kept saying I really did not swell lol

Because I was so worried, they removed my stitches almost at the 2-week mark, and for the full 2 weeks, the manager called me to ask how my condition was, so I think I felt less anxious haha

They said it was basically the same as newly remodeling my nose, and if my nose shook and a blood vessel burst, what could have been 100% satisfaction would become 90%... They told me absolutely not to open my mouth wide, not to laugh, not to sniffle, and not even to go on walks, so I thought I really had to be careful, and for 2 weeks I ate rice mixed into meat soup with a teaspoonㅠ... But I do not recommend thisㅠㅠ I lost almost 3 kg in 2 weeks and I still have not recovered... Make sure to eat well and rest well!!!!!!!! Recovery comes first!!!!!

And now it has been one month!! I finally went and took progress photos. What do you think? Does it look natural?
