Before, after after after after after after surgery ~ day 4 -> my face kept starting to swell -> gradually turning into a pufferfish Day 7 ~ week 2 -> the major swelling started to go down a lot -> it gradually moved down toward the cheeks, and my jaw also became a U-line Week 2 ~ 1 month -> a lot of the residual swelling went down -> the problem was it kept swelling again in the morning and going down at night (I had one swelling plateau) 1 month ~ 2 months -> it gradually started becoming slimmer
Right after surgery, my face looked like it was about to burst, so I looked so ugly that I had a mental breakdown lol ha..........the second photo is day 4, and at least that one is somewhat tolerable ^^ Since facial contouring itself is not a surgery that makes you pretty right away, right after surgery the (ugliness) plus (ugliness) made me feel truly hopeless, but if you just get through that real hellish period, it is such a satisfying surgery...

Even to me, my face’s impression has completely changed to the point that I wonder if this is really the same person haha At my 1-month follow-up, I also had a CT scan, and they said the fixation was good..... :b Originally it was just one hospital among several candidates, but since my cheekbones were very large, there would probably be a lot of bone resection, and I saw that with double fixation, some people occasionally had gaps because of nonunion When I went for the consultation, they said they would fix it in 3 places with no empty spots..somehow, in terms of fixation, I definitely felt trust, while they explained something about the principle of leverage haha They had been doing triple fixation for a long time, and they were very confident, saying there had been no one whose plates came loose during that time, so I thought this was the place. Since I was only going to do cheekbones, I would be devastated if nonunion happened right away, so I chose based only on effect and safety. The reviews were decent and the price was decent too!!! Honestly, I didn’t know they would set my cheekbones back this dramatically, but thankfully my face doesn’t look long and it suits me well, so I’m extremely satisfied
