BeforeBeforeAfterAfterIt has been one month since I had square jaw and cheekbone surgery! I was always concerned about my wide, angular jaw and asymmetrical cheekbones, and I went for consultations at about 4 clinics with a friend. Other clinics said I had a protruding lower jaw and recommended 3 types of contouring, and there was even a clinic that told me to do fat grafting too. The last place I visited didn't particularly recommend anything, and said it seemed possible to do what I wanted. I liked that the comments and attitude were neither too aggressive nor too passive. They said that even though I had a protruding lower jaw, it was not severe and not noticeable externally, so 2 types would probably be enough!
Since that clinic had not been open for very long and the price was also lower than other clinics because of an event, I searched more just in case. But I thought it was right to choose based on the director rather than the clinic, and when I looked into the director, the reviews were good, so I decided on that clinic.
After surgery, the asymmetry, cheekbones, and angular feeling definitely became much softer, and the broad, flat feeling also decreased. But because of the swelling, I'm still not 100% satisfied yet. Since this is swelling, I think I need to watch it until 3 months!!
After surgery, it didn't hurt as much as I expected. Right after surgery, other than thinking, "My jaw hurts a bit?" I could talk better than expected on the day of surgery, and my mouth also closed well, so it was better than I had worried. For 2 weeks, it was hard because I couldn't eat well, but now I can eat well except for foods that require opening my mouth wide, or things that are extremely hard and tough. When I wear makeup, it just looks like my face has gained some weight, so I'm satisfied and waiting for time to pass!!
