I decided to have surgery because I was really concerned about my cheekbones and jaw. Among the options, the reason I chose Yungwakui Jeongseok was, first of all, because it is a hospital that only does facial contouring, so I trusted it and chose it. The director did not recommend any additional surgeries at all; rather, even though I had been considering both my jaw and cheekbones, they advised me to do only the cheekbones. As for the changes after surgery, first, I think I am the type who bruises and swells a lot. Even though I am at week 4, I can still see a lot of swelling like bulldog jowls, so it bothers meㅜㅜ I am really curious and excited to see how it will change as the swelling goes down more! In week 1, there was really major swelling; in week 2, the bruising bothered me more; in week 3, both improved, but the residual swelling was still very severe, and now at week 4 I feel the same as I did in week 3. The areas that were incised inside my mouth still feel strange both internally and externally, but they said this will also return to normal soon, so I am waiting. I had hoped my lateral cheekbones would be reduced a lot from the front view, but maybe because of the swelling, I still cannot really tell, and it is definitely visible that the side cheekbones have sunken in. I am just waiting for the swelling to go down quickly!!!
