It’s been about 10 years since I had the surgery. BK was also a plastic surgery clinic that was famous at one time, so there were many different kinds of patients visiting, many foreigners too, and it was a fairly systematized hospital. My first buried-suture double eyelid surgery barely showed and became inner double eyelids, so I had a consultation because I wanted my eyes to look more defined. I remember getting a cost discount because I had surgery together with my older sister. They didn’t really recommend lateral canthoplasty even back then. They only recommended incisional double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty, but since I was already doing it, I just asked them to do it too. The scars remained for quite a long time, but after about 10 years, they just look like wrinkles... If I do anything now, I guess it would be an upper blepharoplasty or a brow lift.. The recovery room and the hospital interior didn’t seem very good. Somehow.. I felt it even at the time, but it was a bit old-fashioned. If you ask whether I would have surgery at the same hospital again, NO. I don’t particularly(?) want to. People around me said the first buried-suture double eyelid surgery looked more natural and better...
