This is a review of surgery for a severely crooked nose + hump nose. As you can see, my nose was so severe haha... lol From the beginning, I didn’t even want a flashy nose; I just desperately wanted to have the nose of an ordinary person. My wish was to be able to take as many side-profile photos as I wanted ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
I live outside Seoul, but because my nose was so severe, I decided I should have surgery in Seoul. I went to Seoul in person and visited 4 to 5 places for consultations, and had surgery at one of them. I really think in-person consultations are important for rhinoplasty ㅠㅠ The first place I went for a consultation was truly the worst haha.. (I didn’t like their consultation attitude, and among the 4 places, only this place recommended an implant) The other hospitals said we should proceed without an implant!
Anyway, I decided on the place I liked among those hospitals (I preferred somewhere natural rather than flashy, and above all, somewhere safe!!!!) I had the surgery, and as a result, I am sooooo satisfied!! (I had osteotomy, and it was done without an implant)
When I touch my nose, I can feel a veeeeery slight hump sensation (compared to before surgery, about 1/100...) Before proceeding with surgery, the director had told me in advance, “Most of the hump will be removed, but since your nose has a severe hump, when you touch your nose, a slight hump sensation may remain. However, it won’t be noticeable on the outside,” so it was no problem! Since it was implant-free, this much was totally acceptable for me haha
