Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Brief review on day 13 after rhinoplasty

On the day of surgery, I prepared a million questions, but without properly expressing them, I just spoke briefly, had a short consultation, and went into the operating room, During surgery, I woke up from sedation and became wide awake. I thought, what is this? and opened my eyes wide once, but they told me to close them, so I kept them closed It wasn’t that my nose hurt, but I could clearly feel that something was being done to my nose, so I never want to experience that again After surgery, around the time the anesthesia wore off, it started to hurt + I didn’t have cotton packing, so I thought breathing would be easy, but because of runny nose + foreign material, it was hard to breathe, so for a week I breathed through my mouth. On the day of surgery, my nostrils became completely uneven, and I wanted to die. When I went for disinfection the next day and said they were uneven, they said it was because of swelling. Then they taped it again, and the tape blocked half of my nostril. On days 3-4 after surgery, I was very swollen, though it wasn’t severe. I didn’t have a nosebleed either. But because I couldn’t breathe, I had to breathe through my mouth, so I couldn’t sleep well, and my lips dried up, cracked, and became very swollen. I felt self-loathing, wondering what I was doing putting myself through this. On day 7, when the taping was removed, they also removed the foreign material, so I could breathe well. That alone was good. I came home and started looking closely at my nose. I noticed that my nose had become raised in a straight line starting from the double-eyelid line. I’m dying to get early correction, but I don’t think they’ll do it On day 13, from the day of surgery until now, I’ve been staring only at my nose. I want to take everything out...

What I felt 1. I felt that plastic surgery really can drive a person crazy 2. I think I’ve taken over 500 photos of my nose from before surgery until now 3. Every day I take photos, look in the mirror, and worry 4. I had my nasal tip done with septal cartilage, and the fact that my nose is hard and doesn’t move is honestly more awful than I expected
