I’ll just talk about my review casually, like chatting.
I’m currently going around to consultations at various clinics to have my silicone removed. Looking back now, I was young when I got my nose surgery, and I think I was only focused on wanting this complex to disappear.
So after getting nose surgery, my complex disappeared for the past 10 years, but other things have followed.
After the nose surgery, the tip of my nose looked crooked and the silicone seemed shifted to the right, so I went back to the doctor who operated on me several times. I even went back 5 years after the surgery, but what I was told was that my nose was originally asymmetric and that surgery wouldn’t change that;;; I really believed that(?) and, feeling like I had given up, after going back to the doctor several times, I just lived thinking, I guess I was originally like this~
Even when I went to other clinics and heard their opinions, they said it wasn’t something that needed revision surgery to this extent..
But for the past few years, the foreign body sensation and pressure I’ve been feeling, the drooping nasal tip, and the nose looking crooked are all so visible even in photos, and now I feel like this is becoming a complex.. The cartilage is also crooked and protrudes toward the inside of my nose.
So while I’ve been consulting at various clinics to remove the silicone, what the doctors have said... They said the silicone had settled shifted to the right.. ㅠ It was clearly placed incorrectly no matter who looked at it.. ㅠㅠ They said that because it was placed incorrectly, the nasal deformity may have turned out more strangely(?) than in someone whose implant was placed straight, and that they would only know after opening it up..
I’m steadily making clinic appointments and looking into different places for revision surgery.
I’m grateful that I lived for 10 years with my complex gone, but now I want to live without the implant!!
