One-month review of square jaw surgery and chin tip surgery (before surgery, 2 weeks, one month…

Before<This is before surgery.><This is at 2 weeks!>After<And this is one month later!!>Square jaw surgery, chin tip surgery (+double chin liposuction, deep cheek fat removal) I’m leaving a one-month review. Many people asked how much swelling I have now, and I have photos of my current state and photos I took at 2 weeks, so I’m attaching and posting them together!

On the day of surgery, because of fasting, I was thirsty and hungry, so that was the hardest part. After the surgery, breathing was difficult and my throat hurt so much. I was hospitalized for one day, and the nurse on duty came by frequently to check on me. After getting painkillers and antibiotics, I felt a lot better, so I did sleep a little, but I barely slept ㅠㅠ When removing the blood drain, I was worried it would hurt, but it didn’t hurt, and the sensation was just a bit strange. Then I received swelling laser treatment, the hospital gave me pumpkin porridge, I ate it, heard the precautions one more time, and was discharged. After coming home, until before one week had passed, I mostly ate pumpkin porridge and vegetable porridge, and I tried to walk as much as possible too, but honestly I was too lazy so I didn’t do it well ㅠㅠ

For swelling, based on the day of surgery, around days 2 and 3 the swelling was really severe, and around days 5 to 6, I think you can start to see the swelling go down a bit. From about one week, I ate bread and mainly soft foods, and it felt like the swelling in the front chin was going down quickly. Maybe because I went to the hospital every day for aftercare, I could really feel it going down quickly.

Now it has been one month, and almost all of the very major swelling has gone down, with only moderate swelling? minor residual swelling left. I can open my mouth enough for two fingers to fit in. They said swelling in the chin tip goes down the slowest, so I’ll have to take my time and wait, but I want 6 months and 1 year to pass quickly so I can see my slimmer and shorter-looking face shape!

Next time, I’ll come back after reducing more swelling!
