I had TMJ disorder + an 11 mm upper and lower jaw discrepancy, so I had double-jaw surgery. After TMJ treatment, I did 6 months of orthodontics, surgery, and then 4 months of surgical orthodontics, and finished. What changed!! First, I got a jawline hahaha. And I can chew food, my front teeth touch when I push them forward, and I can bite noodles off too. But because of the tendency to go back to the original position, my occlusion is trying to change. Still, I’m living very satisfied right now, and now I need to look into nose surgery haha... Leave a comment if you have questions. It was double-jaw surgery, and I also had chin advancement!
