I went because I was bothered by my rabbit-like front teeth, and they said I had protruding lips, so I tried to get partial orthodontic treatment, but they said that wouldn’t workㅠ so I got full orthodontic treatment! I had 4 wisdom teeth removed and 4 teeth extracted during orthodontic treatment!
It’s almost been 3 years, and after getting orthodontic treatment, I feel like my entire lower face has changed! My jaw went in, friends have asked if I got chin filler, and from the side, the protruding mouth is definitely gone!
At first, tightening the braces hurt a lot, and the orthodontic appliance also came off about 4 times, but now I just think, it feels a bit sore, and move on. It gets better in a day or two! I’m still avoiding hard foods so the appliances don’t come off!
Orthodontic treatment is uncomfortable, expensive.. painful, and there’s a lot you have to put up with, but my whole lower face changed so much that if people around me are considering orthodontics, as someone who has had lip-line correction, I highly recommend it! Because my mouth line went in, the tip of my nose looks prettier too!
