Before <Nose surgery 8 years ago -> swollen and a total mess..ㅠ> Before <A new nose that got both safety and beauty'_'> I had nose surgery at a local clinic 8 years ago, but I kept getting inflammation and swelling, so I went to an ENT clinic. The ENT clinic said they couldn't treat it and told me to go to a plastic surgery clinic... So I was forced onto the revision surgery busㅠㅠ But.. I also didn't like the shape anyway.. so one thing led to another and I ended up getting revision surgery.
The clinic where I had surgery wasn't even on my clinic-shopping list, but I went for a consultation at another plastic surgery clinic in that building, saw someone who had nose surgery at the clinic where I ended up having surgery.. and their nose was so pretty that I made a consultation appointment after seeing it. I really couldn't forget that person's nose, so ten days later I went back for another consultation and booked the surgery. True to form for my impulsive MBTI.. ENFP lol I think running into that person was fate lol. A stroke of genius..
Anyway.. since it was revision surgery, I was worried about getting inflammation again and having to keep going to the hospital, which would be hard and troublesome, so I wanted a surgery that was like safety 80 + aesthetics 20, but the director really gave me safety + aesthetics like a one-plus-one deal. He did say that osteotomy would make it look slimmer.. but I didn't want to overdo it, so I didn't get osteotomy. I removed the existing silicone and used septal cartilage and autologous costal cartilage.. I had also heard a lot that if cartilage is used, it gets absorbed and droops....... My skin isn't thin, and I didn't have osteotomy either, so I really wasn't expecting much, but it came out so much prettier than I thought, so I'm satisfied haha Though it will probably shrink a bit as the swelling goes downㅠㅠ
People who know my original nose will know that I had surgery, but I think it turned out natural enough that people seeing me for the first time wouldn't really notice~!! And what I really liked was that I wanted to confirm whether the silicone inserted during my first surgery had really been removed, and the director showed me photos of the removed silicone and tissue, so that felt trustworthy. The nurses were also kind during treatment.. haha But when waiting for the consultation, the atmosphere was a bit chaotic.. aside from that, well, really, I'm satisfied overall haha
