They examined the under-eye area in detail, and because of the possibility of hollowing under the eyes, they paid a great deal of attention to whether the front cheekbone protrudes. In my case, I barely had any under-eye fat, but my front cheekbone was on the flatter side, so they strongly discouraged surgery... I kept arguing for 20 minutes, asking whether I actually had a lot of under-eye fat and whether there was really no way to do it. That's usually the other way around... If they judge that there will be no effect or a risk of side effects, they immediately oppose surgery and explain everything thoroughly. It definitely doesn't feel like overtreatment.
