They looked closely at the under-eye area, and because of the possibility of hollowing, they place a lot of importance on whether the front cheekbone protrudes. In my case, I did not have much lower-eye fat to begin with, and my front cheekbone was on the low side, so they strongly advised against surgery.. I was the one arguing for 20 minutes, saying maybe I actually had a lot of lower-eye fat and asking whether there was really nothing that could be done.. Usually it is the opposite, but if they judge there may be no effect or possible side effects, they immediately oppose the surgery and give a thorough explanation. I really do not think there was any overtreatment.
