Hehe, I went through with facial contouring surgery, hehe I’ll briefly write about why I got surgery, how I chose the hospital, the surgical areas, and my review. The reason I got surgery was that even though my face is on the narrower side horizontally, my lower face was developed, and because of the shape of the tip of my chin, it gave off a masculine impression. When I told people around me I was getting surgery, a lot of them reacted like, “It’s not even that severe, so why are you doing it?” But for me, my square jaw was truly an extremely, extremely, extremely, extremely severe source of stress ㅠㅠ
For the hospitals I went to consultations at, I first looked mainly for hospitals that had a truly large number of facial contouring surgery cases + even postoperative care!!!! As expected, while going to consultations at these kinds of hospitals, what I felt was that even if I didn’t bring it up first, the director would pinpoint the things I would be curious about and explain them in the consultation first. So I’d heard a lot of people say that going around for consultations is really annoying, but when I was going around for facial contouring consultations, I kept finding it fun to learn more. Even though it was the same surgery, the consultation content really differed a lot depending on the director.... I made my decision really carefully haha....... The surgical areas were the square jaw / chin tip!
From the day of surgery through day 10, the swelling was severe and it throbbed so much.. It really felt like I’d been punched by someone. Since I’m sensitive, I may have felt it more intensely!! But as time passed, a lot of the swelling went down, and much of the discomfort also disappeared. And I can feel that my face shape has become smoother, so it gives a much more feminine impression
