This time, at the 1-year mark, I had a CT scan, and everything is healing so well without any nonunion! I was really anxious, but I felt reassured, so I’m posting this review~
Before surgery, I was unhappy with my 45-degree cheekbones and side cheekbones, so I had soft cheekbone reduction at a clinic. I heard that quick cheekbone reduction only brings in the side cheekbones, and I was worried that traditional cheekbone reduction might cause sagging because of the extensive dissection, so I chose soft cheekbone reduction :) As you can see in the after photos, the effect is especially good on the 45-degree cheekbones, and the side cheekbones also went in a lot.
And as for sagging, which everyone worries about, I have none at all! Because the dissection is minimal, there is less sagging compared with other procedures, and they performed the surgery to make my face as naturally slimmer as possible, so there was even less sagging. Still, just in case, I get Oligio once every 6 months~ Even just that much has kept my face shape satisfying without sagging.
This time too, because I was anxious, I had CT scans at the hospital 1 month and 3 months after surgery, and again at the 1-year mark to check whether the bones had united well. They explained very kindly that the union was good and reassured me, so I was satisfied even with the aftercare. I really think I did well choosing this place!
