I normally had uneven eyes, and it was a complex of mine that the outer corners of my eyes were raised a lot. I had only been thinking for years that I should get lateral canthoplasty, but then I felt I should finally do it, so I looked up a lot of clinic information. Suddenly I remembered that a few years ago, an acquaintance had lateral canthoplasty and told me the clinic where it went well, so I went for a consultation at the plastic surgery clinic where that director works. I kept worrying, but during the consultation they kindly answered even difficult questions, so I trusted them, became certain that I should do it at this clinic, and decided to have the surgery. On the day, I was very nervous because it was my first cosmetic surgery, but when I woke up from sedation, I was already lying in the recovery room. After getting the stitches removed 10 days later, the minor swelling went down quickly, and it has now been a little over two months since surgery, and it turned out natural without any issues!! Right before entering the operating room, I also asked the director to make it look natural, so people around me don’t know I had surgery unless I tell them. Since the lower canthoplasty was done together too, my eyes definitely don’t look sharply upturned and fierce like before, so I’m satisfied. Since it was 3-way lateral canthoplasty, I’m not worried about it reattaching, and I feel glad I did it. If you’re considering lateral canthoplasty, I think it would be good to get a consultation at TK Plastic Surgery!
