No double eyelids, and I tend to have some fat on my eyelids. The doctor said that if I wasn’t going to have ptosis correction, it would be better not to do anything at all. They said I use my forehead muscles to open my eyes, so ptosis correction is needed, and because of my epicanthic folds I’d also need epicanthoplasty. Since my eyes are uneven, they said that if I only did double-eyelid surgery, the asymmetry might become more noticeable. They also said that even with ptosis correction, because the strength used to open each eye is different, the amount of visible eye may differ and I might need revision surgery, but if revision ptosis correction is done within 7 days, there is no extra cost. I liked how clearly they explained things, but there were so many customers that it felt like I’d have to ask questions quickly. The person who counseled me was kind, but they spoke too fast. I asked whether there was an anesthesiologist, but they said that because double-eyelid surgery is done under sleep anesthesia, whether there is an anesthesiologist isn’t that important. There was no consultation fee, which was nice, and there is only one director. It’s in the upper 200s, with ptosis correction around the low 200s and epicanthoplasty around 60.
