My front teeth were uneven, so I had full orthodontic treatment. Since I had a retruded chin and malocclusion, I also underwent orthodontic treatment to advance the lower jaw. I was generally satisfied with the orthodontic treatment, but if I were to do it again, I would want to consider a few more things and proceed after a careful consultation. After orthodontic treatment, as my protruding front teeth moved inward, a lot of my upper gum became visible when I smiled. I am upset because this does not seem like something that can be resolved with gum contouring. The advancement of my lower jaw is not being maintained well after orthodontic treatment. If the director had explained the upper gum and lower jaw position in more detail, I think I would have considered those points before removing the braces or before the teeth had fully moved.
