I started orthodontic treatment in 9th grade, and because I had malocclusion, I had to wear headgear. But they said if you’re older, it’s hard to move the teeth with headgear. So I think that’s why a lot of people do it when they’re little. Honestly, wearing headgear was honestly so annoying that I didn’t really wear it diligently haha. So my orthodontic treatment ended really late. It took about 4 years. If you’re going to wear headgear, you really have to wear it consistentlyㅠㅠ But it was definitely good that I didn’t have any teeth extracted. If you’re scared of having teeth pulled, I think you have to accept that it will take a long time.
