(After the surgery, I got arm Botox elsewhere for several hundred thousand won - arm fat-dissolving injections worth 600,000 won elsewhere too (those had no effect either) - I am currently dieting, and I have been doing arm exercises here and there for about 2 years)
They said they removed 700 cc in total, 200 in the front and 500 in the back. I told them there seemed to be no real difference, and they said your natural arm shape cannot be changed and told me to get arm Botox somewhere else, so I was annoyed... I had only done a little home workout, but since they said it was because of my muscle shape, I accepted it and paid several hundred thousand won out of my own pocket to get it.
Even after that, my arms did not feel slim enough for anyone to tell I had surgery, and I was distressed by the scars and unevenness. I kept thinking it was swelling... that it would get better with time... I spent 2 years like that, and when I visited in January 2020, they gave me steroid injections for the raised scars. But the stitch marks and scar pigmentation stayed the same, and they did carboxy once or twice, I think, but the unevenness on both sides remained the same too (the right side has more bulging on the inner upper-arm flesh?). The nurse who came in with me said it had been 9 years since her thigh surgery, but there was nothing she could do because there was a scar, and the director said that before-and-after photos on TV or the internet are photoshopped... lol. They definitely said before the surgery that they would make it like thatㅠㅠ
At the time, I thought that place was the only one that did liposuction, and after a consultation for a procedure they recommended liposuction, I didn't shop around or even search for side effects and just set a date, then suffered through 12-month installments... Far from getting results, I'm dealing with side effects.
I'm thinking of going back to the hospital soon, but since so much time has passed, I don't think they'll refund me. Would it be okay to ask for a revision surgery?! Or at least an additional procedure... Could people who ended up with scars or unevenness share their experiences.. I had the surgery because I wanted to wear sleeveless tops, but I have never been able to wear one even once. The bulging I can accept, but the scars are so obvious on both sides that anyone can tell I had surgery.
