6 years ago I went to a plastic surgery clinic for the very first time, planning only to get contour injections. But once I started the consultation with the director, he suddenly began with, "You came here through an introduction from your acquaintance, right?" (Nope) and kept talking about how I needed liposuction, so I got swept up in it and ended up having surgery that same day. After the surgery, since it was surgery rather than a simple procedure, I had swelling, ice packs, and pain just the same, but there was zero effect. Even the sedation did not work properly, so from the middle of the surgery onward I was half asleep, and I still remember the procedure. They were talking among themselves about whether to order Chinese food or not, and the director kept getting irritated. On top of that, my right cheek has a slight muscle knot. When I think about how it would have been if I had undergone actual bone-contouring surgery, it gives me chills.
