<Autologous costal cartilage / nasal tip also carved from autologous costal cartilage / scar tissue removal>I’m someone who had my first surgery done too aggressively with autologous costal cartilage and then had it removed. After nostril lowering and alar reduction, my nasal tip had already become asymmetrical and deformed. Even after removal, there was no special correction. I just have to hope that nasal tip contracture doesn’t happen. I was under so much stress that I didn’t even feel like coming to this site, but I’m posting in case it helps. You should judge the surgical options yourself and have surgery. This is not a recommendation for the hospital I went to; just take it as, “this is what happened...” This happened to me in just 6 months, so the emotional wound is big. Because of my wrong judgment, I entrusted my nose to an unconscientious person, and now with the scars and aftereffects, I no longer feel like having more surgery. There aren’t many reviews after removing autologous costal cartilage, so I’m posting this in case it helps. It’s only been 3 weeks, so I’ll have to keep watching, but I’m glad the hardness in my nasal tip, the pressed feeling, and the heavy feeling are gone. Some people may prefer the operated nose shape aesthetically, but... For me, it was too uncomfortable and artificial, so I removed it. The saddest part is that my dorsal hump is gone now... It feels like my nasal bridge got lower? I really think the best thing is not to do anything to the nose..
