I thought the only issue was simply rhinitis, but after getting a CT scan and tests, I was also diagnosed with a deviated nasal septum. They explained functional surgery for two conditions (deviated nasal septum, rhinitis) + alar reduction + nasal tip, with ear cartilage to be used if there isn’t enough septal cartilage, and they also suggested various methods depending on the conditions~ The quote did feel a bit expensive for a first surgery, but since private insurance applies, it seems like the price might be okay when considering that, so I’m thinking about doing it here~ Above all, the director seemed principled and more focused on safety, so I feel like I could ease a lot of my worries about surgery~ Also, it’s right in front of the station, so accessibility is very good.
