In my life, my nose was broken twice in accidents, and I have had a total of 5 surgeries. To find a place that would be my last surgery and restore my nose shape as close as possible to its original state, I joined a community. While I am at it, the 2 most recent surgeries I had were at a place starting with ㅂ, and I want to leave a review about it. The second accident was so severe that it felt like I barely survived, and the left side of my face had caved in. Fortunately, the university hospital inserted metal pins and did a good job, so my face does not have any major problems. But my nose was severely crushed and would not return to its original shape... So, through an acquaintance’s recommendation, I went to a plastic surgery clinic near Sinsa Station that starts with ㅂ. They placed dermis from my buttocks on the nasal dorsum and inserted costal cartilage into the nasal tip, but the dermis all got absorbed.. So 6 months later, I received an after-service procedure using the remaining costal cartilage to fill the nasal dorsum, but that also got absorbed.. I only know now that costal cartilage generally does not get absorbed unless it is diced and inserted. I paid close to 10 million KRW, but now only the nasal tip remains, and even that is crooked, so I feel really distressed... And when I went to receive the after-service after the first surgery, I was surprised because the attitude of the director and the consultant had changed so much. Even when I tried to ask what the problem was, whether there was anything missed in aftercare, and what should be done to prevent further absorption, they did not explain enough for me to understand and it felt like they were only trying to finish the treatment and consultation as quickly as possible.. The consultant even got irritated on the day of surgery and told me to enter the operating room quickly... (Still, the nurses working in the recovery/treatment room after surgery were kind, and they explained treatment and recovery well.) Recently, I needed my surgical records and requested them, but there was no response, so after calling 3 times I finally got in touch with the consultant. Even then, she said she had to discuss it with the director and would contact me again, and then she called my mother. She asked what the surgical records were needed for, and said that if there was any issue, I could come in for a consultation anytime.... But I do not plan to ever go back. The memory of the unkindness and dismissive attitude that my mother and I experienced during the second surgery remains strongly... Well .. to summarize Situation before the first surgery: the nose was severely fractured, and only the bones had been aligned at a university hospital. Surgery cost: upper 9 million KRW range Surgery - First: sedation anesthesia, surgery placing buttock dermis on the nasal dorsum and costal cartilage in the nasal tip Second: surgery placing the remaining costal cartilage harvested during the first surgery onto the nasal dorsum Result: Everything except the nasal tip was absorbed. Extremely unkind. The after-service was also unkind (especially the consultant) The nurses who disinfected and treated me after surgery were really good
