Plastic surgery: 3.5 mm silicone, two layers of ear cartilage, septal cartilage, surgery in December 2018 Removal: simple removal of silicone only, closed approach Reason for removal: I didn’t like that the nasal starting point was high and made my nose look long, and it didn’t suit my image. No inflammation or contracture
It’s the day of removal, so my nose is very swollen
At the previous hospital, they said they had rasped down the nasal bridge and that they couldn’t remove only the silicone. They said I would need dermis or a thin layer of silicone placed instead, and that it would cost in the 2 million won range. I didn’t want to spend that money, so I looked for an affordable place and had it done there. Since I didn’t have inflammation and it was simply removal of the implant without touching the nasal tip area, I didn’t place huge significance on the hospital.
I think I’ll only know whether the nasal bridge rasping is an issue after the swelling goes down. Still, I’m satisfied for now. I like that I look younger and more natural.. So far I don’t feel any sense of loss, and I’m very, very happy that the silicone doesn’t show as a straight 1-shaped line from the front. My nose doesn’t look long either.
I’ll try to bring another review around week 1 or 2~ I hope my post is even just a tiny bit helpful :) *The hospital is just an affordable place that comes up when searching for removal in Seoul, so I’m not taking inquiries...!
