Before and after Personally, I think it took me a very long time to choose a hospital. I thought anyone considering surgery would agree that people who have a complex about their chin carry stress in their hearts that only they understand.
I was someone who first decided to have surgery at age 22, even paid the reservation deposit, and still hesitated about the surgery on the way home. But this time, at age 28, when I had a consultation at Yungwakui Jeongseok, I think it was the first time I felt truly at ease. During the consultation, the director accurately understood my complex and suggested the direction of surgery, and when I asked whether cheekbone surgery would usually be good to do together for my face shape, Director Oh Jeongseok instead said he thought it would be better not to do the cheekbones, and that consultation made up my mind. So I decided to have 2 types of facial contouring surgery (square jaw, front chin), and I scheduled the surgery right there on the spot. Since I had been cautious enough to have only consultations several times from age 22 until now, a major reason I was finally able to decide was that the director and all the other staff cared a lot and were kind.
It has now been about a month since surgery, and even though there is still a lot of swelling left, I am satisfied enough to think I really did well choosing to have surgery here. At first, rather than pain, the greater discomfort was opening my mouth or eating food, but now I can open my mouth well and eat everything fine, so it has gotten okay. It was not an easy decision, but as much as I had thought about it for so long, I have no regrets at all, only satisfaction, and I find myself thinking it would have been nice if I had known the director sooner.
