Normally, because of my hump nose and low nose, it wasn't a huge source of stress, but when taking side-profile photos or front-facing photos, sometimes when my nose looked sharp, it bothered me a little, not a lot, and I often thought I wanted rhinoplasty. So I decided to get rhinoplasty!
1. I didn't go around to a lot of places for consultations (I narrowed it down to places where people around me had good results and visited them I made reservations at 2 places, but because of time, I liked the first place I visited and booked it)
2. I heard people say men should have a straight nose. I really liked a straight-with-slight-curve shape, but because my columella is short, they said they couldn't project the nasal tip too much. So I asked the director to make it a possible straight-with-slight-curve shape that doesn't look too much like Pinocchio, but with a straight feel. The director said that if they project it into a straight-with-slight-curve shape and make the shape I want, because my columella is short, it could look upturned, and that during surgery they would pay as much attention as possible and match it to feel as straight-with-slight-curve and straight as possible. The director was stern and only stated the facts exactly, so they felt like a discipline teacher from middle school.
3. Anesthesia (sedation anesthesia, local anesthesia) It was my first time ever getting anesthesia. In my life I never had any major injuries, and maybe because I'm sturdy, I've never even broken a bone So I had a little fear? about sedation anesthesia, but when I went into the operating room, the nurse asked, "You don't like your leg hurting, right?" so I said, "Yes, I don't really like pain," and was smiling, then the director came in, and while I was watching them draw? the nose shape on my face with a pen, I fell asleep. In an instant, I opened my eyes and was in the recovery room,,
(Surprisingly, sedation anesthesia is not something to worry too much about in cosmetic surgery, of course only at places that have an anesthesiologist and a systematic setup!)
4. My personal thoughts on cost Hmm, for me, it may be important if you consider it important and not important if you don't, but I didn't consider <cost> that much. I narrowed it down to 1. director's skill 2. verified clinic 3. anesthesiologist 4. what percentage of complication cases there are. It's not because I have a lot of money, but when I invest in my body, for example: tattoos, surgery, I think quality > quantity. Rather than thinking, it would be nice if I could get surgery at a cheap price, or it would be nice if I could get a tattoo cheaply, the most precious thing is my body. Money can be earned, but surgery and tattoos, once done, can't be undone, so even if it was expensive, I didn't factor that in much!
