Review 1 month after revision nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage, before-before-before and after-after-after I had nose surgery about 4 years ago, and at that time I did not properly research the clinic and just decided to have surgery right away at the first place I went for a consultation. That became the problem, and in the end I had to get revision surgeryㅠㅠ
Before surgery, my nose had no bridge, was small, and the nasal tip was extremely low, so during the first surgery I hoped the tip would become higher, but they had raised the nasal tip far too much.. Later I saw that the bridge was crooked and the tip was raised too sharply, and I was under such severe stress that I could not take photos with a basic camera at all. I endured it for 4 years, and then over the past few months, I do not know if it was an allergic reaction in my nose or what, but my nose was so itchy that daily life became uncomfortableㅠㅠ So I decided it was time for revision surgery, received consultations at several places, and the place I chose was B The New.
First, I liked that the consultation manager really felt like an older sister from the neighborhood and picked up one by one on the parts I had been stressed about even without me saying them, and I liked that there was no excessive pressure. The director also only talked about the necessary parts, which I liked. I have severe rhinitis, so because I wanted to have rhinitis surgery at the same time, I chose the clinic focusing on whether they were specialists in plastic surgery and otolaryngology.
In fact, surgery using autologous costal cartilage was something I hesitated about as an office worker, so I thought about it a lot. But most people recommend autologous costal cartilage for revision surgery, and as someone who had failed once, I did not want to fail twice, so I decided even more carefully.
After surgery, exactly 3 days were difficult because of pain in the autologous costal cartilage area, but from after day 3, the pain decreased a lot to a surprising degree! (Coughing is the most hellishㅠㅠ) Until removing the splint after surgery, I worried so much about whether this time had succeeded, whether it would be okay, and whether it was not crookedㅠㅠ
After removing the splint, first of all, I was so happy that the sharp nasal tip had become a rounded nasal tip, and I also felt so relieved that the bridge was not crookedㅠㅠ Compared with before surgery, my overall image did not change a lot, but everyone I meet around me tells me it was good that I had my nose surgery redone, so I am very happy. I am satisfied just that my nose has become much more natural! Swelling after nose surgery has to be viewed over a long period, so I am also looking forward to the shape when all the swelling goes down! I will leave another review when the swelling is all gone~
