After graduating high school last year, I thought double eyelid surgery usually turns out fine, so I didn’t really look into it much before getting it done, but it turned into sausage eyelids It’s now been a little over a year since the surgery, so I’m thinking about revision surgery. Honestly, until not long ago, I kept thinking it was still swelling because I had an incisional procedure, and I believed that, but it turned out the double eyelid height was just too high. When I went to the clinic where I had the double eyelid surgery, the doctor did admit that he had been too ambitious and set the double eyelid height higher than what my eyes could handle. He apologized and said he would do the revision surgery again, so I don’t resent the doctor or anything. Even if I went back to that time, I think the result would probably be the same, so I don’t really regret it either. I’m just so sad.. I think there’s luck involved in plastic surgery too. No matter how good the doctor is that I entrust my eyes to, and even if everyone around me had good results, every person and every set of eyes is different, and compatibility with the doctor is different too, so I really think plastic surgery isn’t easy. Just because everyone around you gets double eyelid surgery, it absolutely isn’t a minor surgery that you can take lightly. I vaguely thought I’d become prettier if I got double eyelid surgery, but sometimes I think I may have looked prettier back when I had monolids.. And now that I’m considering revision surgery, I’m worried first about what if it fails again.. It’s really hard..
