Helloooo!! I'm in my 20s and had complexes about facial asymmetry, a protruding lower jaw, and a square jaw :) So much time has already passed, and it has now been 1 year since I had double-jaw surgery and two types of facial contouring surgery (square jaw and chin). Now, except for certain facial expressions, I live forgetting that I had surgery :) People I meet after a long time ask if my face got smaller and say I look prettier haha
The reason I went ahead with surgery was that, because I had had this complex about my appearance since I was a student, I was really self-conscious when taking photosㅠㅠ Since my lower jaw protruded more than my upper jaw, when viewed from above, the lower jaw protrusion and asymmetry were very obvious. I had also been getting orthodontic treatment, so even at the dental clinic, they recommended double-jaw surgery once my growth stopped.
Since I'm undergoing orthodontic treatment, I'm not extremely free when it comes to eating, but I think people who started orthodontics first may still be able to eat a variety of foods! Oh, of course, since I also had my jaw shaved, it would be better to avoid hard foods as much as possible to help prevent the jaw from growing back! They say that after surgery, because of muscle damage? sagging can become severe as you age, but since I'm still in my 20s, I think I'm okay for now,, lol I think you really need to take care of your skin, and if you later have the pins removed, it's like having surgery again, so please think about that kind of thing at least once~ Still, I recommend getting the surgery! Your confidence changes hehe
