I was originally supposed to have surgery last week, but I thought it would be better to do it after coming back from my trip, so I had the surgery yesterday and I’m writing this while resting now.

It’s a clinic with one director, and the facilities feel like a neighborhood clinic. Even so, the reason I chose this place was that when I went for the consultation, while I was waiting, I saw several people who had come in for follow-up visits, and this was the only place where I got the feeling that the staff really took care of them well. Of course, I also liked the price, but personally, what I think is most important is postoperative care.
The surgery was carried out exactly as we discussed during the consultation, and they explained it again before surgery too. Seeing that they explained things from the start to avoid any misunderstandings made me feel that they were meticulous, so I felt reassured.
The surgery was done under local anesthesia, but getting the anesthesia was a bit painful. I think the surgery took about 1 hour?
If you lie down for a bit in the recovery room, the director comes in, checks the surgical result, asks if you looked in the mirror, and explains how to manage the swelling. Then I went home and basically just lay down..
But when I woke up today, I was a bit more swollen, so I went for a walk starting in the morning, and I ordered some juice that helps with swelling, so I’m waiting for Coupang now..
According to the director, after about a week has passed, you can really check whether the line has settled well.. I hope that comes quickly.
