I have a bulbous nose and a low nose. My nose was really ugly, so I was very stressed, and even when I took photos, it didn’t look good, so I was very stressed..ㅠㅠ
How I found the clinics was that recently I posted a lot of questions on Naver Knowledge iN, and instead of clinics that gave copy-paste style answers, I looked mainly into clinics where the surgeon personally left detailed answers, and visited them! Last year, I just went around anywhere that was said to be famous, but there weren’t any consultations that appealed to me.. This year I searched with the mindset that I would definitely do it.
The 2 clinics that left detailed answers were private clinics, so I’m writing a review of only the private clinics I went to!
[Cheoeumcheoreom Plastic Surgery - ㅊㅇㅊㄹ] [Director Lee Bang-seok - ㅇㅂㅅ] [Consultation fee - none / CT scan cost - none] [Wait - a little] [Consultation order: manager - surgeon - manager] [Quote - 3.8 million won]
First, when you go in, you’re guided by the manager, then they do a CT scan first, and then the consultation with the surgeon is conducted using that. I liked that he clearly told me what was possible and impossible, and he also explained well why something was impossible, which was good. He explained that cartilage tying and raising the nasal bridge would be needed, and while showing me a case of someone whose before nose was similar to mine, I saw the after photo and it was really pretty, so honestly I wanted to book right away. But I had consultations scheduled at other clinics too, so I decided to look around there and then decide, and for now saved this as my first choice! There seemed to be a lot of people, but still the surgeon made me comfortable and told me to ask all the questions I wanted, and he treated me very sincerely, which I liked.
At the end, the manager really praised the surgeon a lot, saying he has golden hands, but there was no pressure to book, no CT scan cost, and my consultation satisfaction was very high.
[Kowell Plastic Surgery - ㅋㅇ] [Director Kang Chang-gyun - ㄱㅊㄱ] [Consultation fee - none] [Wait - none / I was told it’s a complete reservation system that avoids meeting other people as much as possible] [Consultation order: surgeon - manager] [Quote - 4.2 million won]
Here, the manager only guided me, and I had the consultation directly with the surgeon right away. It was conducted in a way where he listened sufficiently to my opinions and then the surgeon answered. As with the consultation at Cheoeumcheoreom, here too he mentioned cartilage tying and the nasal bridge. He explained well things I had usually been curious about regarding the nose, such as how it would be good to do it naturally and explanations about autologous tissue and artificial implants, and he said confidently that it was a case he had handled many times.
After the surgeon’s consultation, when I consulted with the manager, there was no pressure. I was informed that because there are many surgeries from November, I would need to decide quickly to have surgery within November, otherwise it could be pushed to December or later.
Maybe because I booked consultations after seeing their answers on Naver, both clinics’ consultations were really good. I came into this community and am looking up reviews, and Cheoeumcheoreom has many reviews here, while Kowell seems to have more reviews elsewhere than here.
I’m trying to decide this week, but I’m still a little torn.
If you’re going for consultations, definitely go to both clinics. Both clinics explain things really well, are sincere about the consultation, and don’t pressure you.
And something I felt this time is that clinics that leave detailed answers on things like Naver Knowledge iN really do consultations like that too.
