Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Lee Young-jin review

The clinic I decided on after visiting four places for consultations. In the first consultation, I focused on whether or not to have revision surgery, and they said to do it if it bothered me, and not to if it didn’t. When I went back for a second consultation after deciding on revision surgery, I brought photos of the nose shape I wanted, nose shapes I liked, and nose shapes I disliked. I thought I wouldn’t be able to ask everything I wanted in words, so I numbered my questions 1 and 2 and wrote them all down, and they answered each one in detail. The current plan was to remove the silicone, do osteotomy, and raise the nasal tip. They said they would open it up and, if the septum was strong enough, use the septum; if not enough, use ear cartilage; and if still not enough, use donor cartilage. I said I’d prefer not to use donor cartilage if possible, and asked them to tell me that during surgery. In the end, the operation was osteotomy and nasal tip elevation using septum. The surgery took more than an hour and a half. They checked everything carefully to the end.
