I was born with a step where the bridge of my nose meets the tip of my nose, presumably because the skin at the tip is rather thick. During surgery, I asked them to remove that step while keeping my natural half-curved to straight line. The director said that if they only put in silicone, it would create a straight-line feel, and when I said I absolutely did not want it to look straight, the director said then we should put in silicone and add just one layer of ear cartilage, so we finalized it that way and went into surgery. It has been 3 to 4 weeks since my closed rhinoplasty, but this step has not disappeared as much as I expected. Is it because I asked for the half-curved line... Is it swelling... If it is swelling, can the bridge alone swell more? Can someone explain why there is still a step here? I am really anxious. Because of that step, my nose looks bulky. Did I stress too much about keeping the existing half-curved line? No matter how half-curved it is, we had agreed to remove the step T_T

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoAug 21 Has anyone lowered or removed a hooked nose, a droopy nose, or a bulbous nose?
I’m curious whether, when it’s removed or lowered, it droops more than the original nose, or whether only the alar base spreads out T_T

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoAug 21 I consulted about full nose removal today and even paid the deposit, but suddenly I am second-guessing myself

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoAug 21 I have had two nose surgeries and one open irrigation, so what would happen if I remove the tip...
