Hello, sorry for the TMI I feel like I have been looking in the mirror a lot more these days lol It has now been about a month since I had double-jaw and contour surgery with Dr. Shin Hee-jin at Iyoo Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery!! I used to have pretty severe facial asymmetry, and I was also very bothered by how my jaw looked like it stuck out forward from the side; Even in photos, my face shape looked like an underbite, which kept stressing me out, so I eventually decided to get double-jaw surgery I had been going to a dental clinic for orthodontic treatment, and the doctor there recommended surgery at Iyoo Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, so I came for my first consultation with a lot of trust because it was a hospital recommended by a doctor! During the consultation, they looked at my face and bite together and explained one by one what surgery method would suit me and how the surgery would proceed, and I liked that they explained things much more thoroughly than I expected I heard that Dr. Shin Hee-jin has a lot of experience with double-jaw and contour surgery and is very good at it, so I decided to trust them and get the surgery here too!! On day 4 after surgery, I was of course very swollen, but even so, compared with before surgery, I could already see that my lower jaw, which had been jutting forward, had moved inward, and I remember thinking, oh?? lol And now it is already 1 month later, and the big swelling from the beginning has really gone down a lot! I do not even need to wear a mask when going out now, so I am going around much more comfortably than before Especially as the swelling goes down, I can gradually see that my jawline has become slimmer than before surgery, so these days I keep looking in the mirror for no reason It has only been a month, so I still need to wait and see, but the changes that were hidden by swelling at first are starting to show one by one, which is amazing!! I’m looking forward to how much more different I will look once the swelling goes down more and my face settles, and I hope the day comes soon when I can write my 1-year review too ~~
